Corporate Sales

The mission for Corporate Sales is to give National Chains a single source of information and programs to better serve your multiple retail locations. Central buyers with drop ship request as well as warehouse purchases have a central department to accommodate your purchasing needs.

The Corporate Sales Department has built a sizable portfolio of large chains as their clients, including Harris Teeter, The Sports Authority, GNC, Bally Total Fitness, Vitamin World, The Vitamin Shoppe, and 24 Hour Fitness among scores of others.

   
  


David Hegel

Director of Corporate Sales

David Hegel David is the Director of Corporate Sales for Europa Sports Products. He came to us from EAS, where he spent the 4 years as their Director of Sales. David has a degree in Technology and Technical Sales from East Carolina University. Having worked previously in other industries, his former companies were all Fortune 500 companies, David brings an extensive background for dealing with larger companies that expect Mass market programs and service for those types of accounts. David has built the Europa Sports Corporate Sales Department from the ground up. David's free time is spent with family as well as the sport of wrestling. David has an extensive background in the sport of wrestling and helps many high school and college programs in North Carolina.

Derek West

Corporate Sales Manager

Derek West Derek came to Europa Sports from EAS, where he spent 4 years as their National Distribution Manager. He has a degree in Marketing from the University of Colorado, where he also played football. Derek then went on to play pro-football in the NFL for the Indianapolis Colts, the San Francisco 49ers and the Arizona Cardinals. Derek also played for Rhein Fire in NFL Europe, where they were world champions in 1998. Derek's understanding of the retail needs of major accounts has been his greatest asset. He understands each channel and can assist buyers in selection for each channel demographic.

Fitness
Weight train at least 3 times a week...usually on
Mon, Wed, Fri. Cardio at least 3-4 times per week.
Treadmill usually 20-30 minutes. When weather
cooperates, I definitely take advantage of the
beautiful Colorado weather and run outside,
mountain bike, hike, etc...

Workout Tips
A reliable workout partner is a huge plus. Knowing
that person will be waiting for you at the gym will
help motivate you to get there. Not only that, but
once at the gym... it really helps to have that person
there to push you past your comfort levels. Also,
when doing cardio...do something you enjoy. Many
of us dread those cardio sessions. However, if you
are doing something you like, it really helps the time
go by. The majority of us aren't getting paid to train...
so make it fun and enjoyable.

Hobbies
Playing with my 2 daughters.... and when any
free time presents itself, you will find me on any
golf course willing to put up with my game.


Dane Hansen

Corporate Sales Manager

Dane Hansen Dane is a graduate from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine. Dane joined Europa Sports from EAS, where he was their Customer Business Manager and was growing the largest account General Nutrition Centers. Other achievements include being a member of the Association of Volleyball Professionals where he was a professional athlete for 4 years. He participated in the 1996 Olympic trials for the Olympic Games in Atlanta, GA for volleyball. Dane has a unique ability to help accounts find the best products for a catagory. Each of his major accounts at Europa have seen the categories he helped select brands for see double digit sales growth.

Workout Tips
Cardio on an empty stomach, first thing in the am
keeps you lean and mean. The fear of hanging out
with the animals at Europa corporate are always a
great "get your butt to the gym" motivator for me.
Surround yourself with successful/positive people
and you're guaranteed to succeed in your goals.
Just getting yourself to the gym is 75% of the battle...
resist the urge of complacency and the snooze button!!!

Coaching my 4 and 6 year old kids in Soccer,
Basketball and Baseball. I enjoy Triathlons, Beach
Volleyball and 4-wheeling in my DODGE RAM

Jason Bridges

Corporate Sales Coordinator - Lead

Jason BridgesJason is Lead Corp. Sale Coordinator. He has been with Europa for 5 years, serving in may capacities. He spent a year and a half as a Route driver before coming to Customer Service. He also took on the responsibilities of keying Web Fulfillment Orders. This then lead to his current position. Jason is a graduate of the School of Communication Arts in Raleigh.


Kristal Chisholm

Corporate Sales Coordinator

Kristal Chisholm Kristal is a corporate sales coordinator. She has been with Europa Sports for five months. Kristal graduated from the University of South Carolina with a BS in Business Administration (major in Marketing and Management) in 2004. Kristal was previously employed with Carolina First Bank.
